Experience:

• At least 5 years

• Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fashion Designing

Bachelor’s/Diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Apparel Design, Textile Design or relevant discipline.

Professional training in fashion/lingerie design will be an added advantage.

• Age At least 30 years

3–6 years of relevant experience in Fashion/Apparel/Lingerie Design.

Candidates with direct experience in Lingerie/Intimate Apparel Design will be preferred.

Strong knowledge of lingerie design, garment construction, fabrics, lace, elastic and trims.

Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or similar design software.

Strong creative sense with commercial understanding of international fashion trends.

Good understanding of fit, styling and product development.

Job Context:

Scandex Textile Industries Limited is expanding its Lingerie Product Development Project. As part of this we are looking for a creative and commercially oriented Lingerie Designer who will be responsible for developing innovative, market-oriented lingerie products in line with buyer requirements, fashion trends and international market expectations

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative and commercially viable lingerie/intimate apparel designs based on buyer requirements and market trends.

• Develop design concepts, sketches, color combinations, artwork and product presentations for new styles.

• Work closely with Merchandising, Pattern and Garment Technical teams to convert designs into commercially feasible samples.

• Select and recommend appropriate fabrics, lace, elastic, trims and accessories for different lingerie products.

• Review samples and fitting results and make necessary design modifications based on technical/buyer feedback.

• Monitor international lingerie fashion trends, colors, fabrics and product innovations and incorporate relevant trends into new product development.
