Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy for the footwear factory, including preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
∎ Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
∎ Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and ensure optimal utilization of resources.
∎ Monitor and maintain machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are operating at maximum efficiency and in compliance with safety standards.
∎ Conduct regular inspections and assessments of factory infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary upgrades or repairs.
∎ Collaborate with production, quality control, and engineering teams to address maintenance-related issues and optimize production processes.
∎ Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance and repair tasks.
∎ Maintain the utility and power-related assets and ensure a fail-proof system.
∎ Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources while maintaining high standards of performance.
∎ Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in maintenance management and implement relevant improvements.
∎ Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness among the maintenance team.
∎ Document maintenance activities, reports, and records for future reference and analysis.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The incumbent for this position is required to have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience of 10+ years in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the footwear or textile industry.
