Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
∎ Master's Degree or relevant professional International certifications.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 14 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Identify, onboard vendors and suppliers including evaluation of vendor performance, including quality, timeliness, and pricing.
∎ Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and terms.
∎ Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and import/export laws.
∎ Manage the process of obtaining necessary permits and licenses.
∎ Oversee customs bond requirements to facilitate smooth import operations.
∎ Address any customs-related challenges and liaise with customs authorities as needed.
∎ Ensure yearly BOND Audit in due course of time.
∎ RFQ with forwarders, Comparative Study before nominating any forwarder, C&F, and Truckers.
∎ Select and manage relationships with freight forwarders, logistics companies, and C&F agents.
∎ Coordinate the transportation of goods, including the negotiation of shipping rates and routes.
∎ Oversee the documentation and customs clearance processes with forwarders and C&F agents.
∎ Resolve transportation and logistics issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
∎ Manage banking relationships related to international payments and letters of credit.
∎ Optimize LC Fund through proper and effective planning.
∎ Evaluate and manage insurance coverage for cargo and supply chain risk.
∎ Coordinate with insurance providers for claims, if necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 33 to 40 years
∎ Proven experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on inbound logistics with bonded warehouses.
∎ Extensive knowledge of customs regulations, trade compliance, and international shipping.
∎ Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
∎ Proficiency in using supply chain and logistics software and tools.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong working relationships.
∎ Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address supply chain challenges.
∎ Financial acumen for managing trade finance, banking, and insurance aspects.
∎ Experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the footwear or textile industry.
