Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze engineering problems, apply technical expertise and engineering judgment and produce innovative solutions through the use of complex interactive computer systems to meet legal and management objectives.
∎ To make liaison with the emergency service, police, ambulance. and fire service to resolve issues and maintain security and service
∎ To provide professional and technical excellence in highway engineering
∎ Pro-actively ensuring the protection of properties/assets of the Company;
∎ Accomplish security risk assessment of the company and set appropriate plan to reduce the organization's security & safety related risks;
∎ Identify, prepare, design, plan, programme and order work and services.
∎ Prepare and assist in the management and monitoring of works programmes or services.
∎ Liaising as required directly with Elected Members, District Councils, stakeholders and other providers to manage the implementation of allocated programmes of work
∎ Assist with the management and provision of technical support for staff dealing with all aspects of the service.
∎ Provide assistance to the functional leader or Senior Engineer in relation to all aspects covered within the Team and deputies in their absence.
∎ Preparation of reports for projects and attending meetings to provide support as appropriate.
∎ To identify schemes for future programmes as appropriate.
∎ Support Health and Safety, Environmental Management Systems, Quality Management Systems and Construction Design Management in a positive and constructive manner.
∎ Liaise with other team members associated with the design and supervision of allocated schemes
∎ Ensure the scheme design complies with the specification and agreed on the programme
∎ Maintain accurate records on the allocated projects - including managing the project budgets for time and works
∎ Carry out the role of Road Safety Team Leader on Road Safety Audits.
∎ To carry out any other reasonable duties that may be directed or implied from time to time commensurate to the post and/or organizational requirements
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Experience in Mega Projects, Experience in Road Safety Control Transportation, Liaising with different related Government bodies, Roads and Highways, Safety Engineering, Traffic Safety, Transportation Safety
∎ Personnel with no experience in PR or liaison need not apply
