Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Finance
∎ Certified accountants or equivalent (Preferred Professional Certification: CGMA/FCMA/CIMA)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Responsibilities of a Head of Finance Will Include.
∎ Oversee Costing, Fund arrangement & Fund Management, Investment, budget, forecast, Production analysis, Inventory, Business planning analysis, new project analysis, Cost control, Asset Management of all assigned Business Units of the Company.
∎ Develop and deliver short- and long-term goals of the department.
∎ Responsible for financial stewardship and member of various committees.
∎ Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
∎ Handle the complete finance, Accounts, Tax, VAT & other legal issues of the company with guidelines of the Management.
∎ Provide commercial insight and leadership across the business to exceed business plan targets
∎ Key interface in all banking relationships for corporate banking treasury & investment needs.
∎ Actively participate in the key initiatives of the company and provide finance & investment inputs to support decision-making.
∎ Work with various departments to actively resolve emerging issues.
∎ Own the audit/stakeholder relationships including external auditors the Audit and Risk Committee and any appointed accountants as required.
∎ Responsible for the production of all external financial reporting obligations including statutory accounts regulatory accounts investor reporting and compliance certificates to meet the groups listed debt obligations.
∎ Train guide and develop team members.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 years working experience in steel sector for banking , Finance & Accounts.
∎ The Successful Head of Finance Will Have:
∎ Experience working in Financing preferably with fund management, financial planning & analysis experience ideally in Bangladesh.
∎ Working knowledge of M&A / refinancing projects and Due Diligence assignments
∎ Strong experience in financial control within the industry - essential
∎ Experience in managing people - a small team on/offshore can be considered
∎ Familiar with the COSO framework.
∎ In-depth knowledge of IFRS, BFRS and solid knowledge in budgeting and investment, and treasury.
∎ Good working knowledge of the tax system in Bangladesh.
∎ Excellent planning, organization, and change management skills.
∎ Experience in large-scale project financing.
