  • Experience with design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CLO3D)

Responsibilities & Context:

Manager-Fashion Designer will lead the fashion design team, oversee the creative design process, and ensure alignment with brand identity and market trends. The role combines creative design expertise with managerial responsibilities, including team leadership, project management, and collaboration with merchandising, production, and marketing teams.

Creative & Design

  • Develop seasonal collections, product lines, and new design concepts aligned with brand vision and market demand.
  • Conduct fashion forecasting and trend analysis to anticipate consumer preferences.
  • Select fabrics, trims, and color palettes suitable for the brand’s positioning.
  • Oversee the creation of samples and approve final prototypes before production.

Team Management & Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the fashion design team, ensuring creativity, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Assign tasks and monitor performance to achieve project goals.
  • Organize training sessions to upgrade skills and knowledge of team members.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with merchandising, marketing, and production departments to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, and clients for design approval.
  • Participate in fashion shows, exhibitions, and buyer meetings to represent the brand.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all designs meet quality standards and production feasibility.
  • Maintain compliance with sustainability and ethical production standards.
  • Research & Market Insights
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify new opportunities.
  • Stay updated with international fashion trends, consumer behavior, and new design technologies.
