Manufacturing (FMCG), Plastic/ Polymer Industry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervision of Distribution and logistics operations as well as warehouse activity by optimum resources.
∎ Ensuring sales support like order vs delivery within a committed time frame within the budgeted cost.
∎ Negotiating and agreeing on contracts with sales, production and Distributor/Dealer.
∎ Coordinating drivers, vehicles, loads and journeys.
∎ Planning of daily, weekly, and monthly Finished goods stock and delivery.
∎ Liaising with and managing staff and running shifts.
∎ Ensuring vehicle maintenance/ repair with the help of a contract workshop.
∎ Analyzing data to assess performance, and logistical problems and devise plans for improvements.
∎ Monitoring Finished goods stock and managing wastage.
∎ Day-to-day monitoring of the warehouse activities and visits frequently.
∎ Set distribution goals and plan and manage distribution operations to achieve the set goals.
∎ Identify resources, perform workload assignments, and provide assistance when required.
∎ Conduct training for team members as needed.
∎ Monitor team performances and provide feedback for improvements.
∎ Oversee daily routes and improve route plans to ensure timely deliveries.
∎ Follow and enforce company policies and procedures.
∎ Address customer queries and ensure customer satisfaction.
∎ Develop distribution budgets and manage expenses within the budgets.
∎ Work with warehouse and transportation staff to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
∎ Perform cost negotiations with vendors and provide appropriate solutions for bulk distributions.
∎ Ensure that company transport vehicles are maintained in good working conditions.
∎ Develop cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining productivity and quality.
∎ Plan and schedule deliveries to meet customer needs.
∎ Assist in inventory management activities including receiving, storing, rotating, and handling supplies in the distribution center.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Sound in MS Office, report writing, and email communication
∎ Well-organized, critical thinker with a strong personality
∎ Strong leadership quality
∎ Team player
∎ Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed
∎ Ability to perform under pressure
∎ Self-motivated
