Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Environmental/Chemical/Civil Engineering or Masters in Environmental Science/Studies.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Generate a business strategy for the country within the framework of SGS Environment Services global capabilities and translate business strategy into pragmatic action plans and executions.
∎ Analyze market potential, develop competitive pricing strategies, and positioning as a leader to the market.
∎ Promote the development of new services/products and concepts for the assigned market segment.
∎ Monitor market for the development of new technologies and trends.
∎ Draft, propose, negotiate and secure contracts for local and international clients.
∎ Manage pre and post-contract commercial issues, including credit and collection.
∎ Manage operations to ensure adequate efficiency, productivity, and the best quality of execution.
∎ Control and approve analysis results from laboratory and on-site tests.
∎ Responsible to reduce overheads in the field and execute jobs at low cost with quality.
∎ Provide technical support to the client.
∎ Ensure timely and accurate reporting to customers.
∎ Ensure on-time release of the report.
∎ Entrusted with the responsibility of Environment audit, environment monitoring, preparation of offer, and project site investigation
∎ Accountable for providing support for business development, marketing & customer services.
∎ Responsible for claim management of the team including himself
∎ Communicate with customers to maintain optimum customer satisfaction
∎ Promote the image, capability, and integrity of SGS to the clients and the market
∎ Work with other business lines to foster synergies
∎ Ensures Safe Working Methods are in place and applied in all operations and as identified by contract.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Masters in Environmental/Chemical/Civil Engineering or Masters in Environmental Science/Studies.
∎ ISO 14001 Environmental Certified Auditing course completed.
∎ ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Certified Auditing course completed.
∎ Minimum 10 years operational/management experience in business activities with a strong focus on business development, preferably in a related technical field.
∎ Training related to Environmental Monitoring or Environmental Services or Effluent Plant Services.
∎ Knowledge about the methodology used for monitoring of Air, natural/sea/wastewater, and analysis of the same.
