Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and maintain a comprehensive material planning strategy in collaboration with production management.
∎ Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent overstock or stock outs, optimizing carrying costs while ensuring materials are readily available for production.
∎ Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials, maintaining strong supplier relationships and negotiating terms and agreements when necessary.
∎ Work with demand planners and other relevant teams to forecast material requirements based on historical data, market trends, and production schedules.
∎ Ensure material availability according to production schedules to avoid disruptions and downtime.
∎ Ensure that materials received meet quality standards and specifications. Address any quality issues with suppliers as needed.
∎ Identify cost-saving opportunities in material procurement, transportation, and inventory management while adhering to budget constraints.
∎ Analyze data related to materials, inventory, and supplier performance to make informed decisions and improvements.
∎ Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies related to material procurement, storage, and handling.
∎ Maintain accurate records of material transactions, orders, and supplier communications.
∎ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the material planning and procurement process.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 40 years
∎ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
∎ Proficiency in using inventory management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
∎ Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
∎ Knowledge of supply chain principles, production processes, and procurement strategies.
