Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee and manage the customer service team for the Air Freight department, ensuring timely and professional communication with clients, agents, and other stakeholders.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, consignees, overseas agents, and carriers to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
∎ Address customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a high level of satisfaction across all interactions.
∎ Collaborate with the Air Freight operations team to coordinate bookings, provide competitive rates, and ensure timely shipment planning.
∎ Monitor and track shipment status, proactively updating customers and resolving any discrepancies.
∎ Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements throughout the shipment process.
∎ Train, mentor, and motivate the customer service team to maintain a high standard of performance and achieve departmental objectives.
∎ Review and analyze customer feedback, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance service quality.
∎ Collaborate with internal teams to streamline communication and optimize customer service operations.
∎ Prepare and present regular reports on customer service performance and initiatives to senior management.
