Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Chemical Industries, Cosmetics/Toiletries/Personal Care, Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Group of Companies, Manufacturing (FMCG), Pharmaceuticals, Plastic/ Polymer Industry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and execute effective LC management planning upon reviewing current practices and procedures
∎ Lead, monitor and guide team to ensure that tasks linked with import, import document, customs, license, C& F, transportation, etc are properly executed
∎ Ensure the activities of LC opening are done in effective and efficient manner by adhering company policy
∎ Ensure customs clearance of imported materials efficiently
∎ Liaison with banks, shipping line, forwarding agents, customs, drug authority and relevant organizations in relation to import documentation
∎ Monitor shipment schedule to C&F agents as per import consignment and schedule by maintaining proper documentation
∎ Perform total landed cost calculation of imported items
∎ Select freight forwarders to ship imported goods as per scheduled time
∎ Forecast monthly, quarterly and yearly budget (e.g. port fee, duty, handling, storage, distribution cost, etc.)
∎ Initiate to reduce port and shipping charges and keep it within standard tolerance.
∎ Maintain documentations for audit, customs and other legal authorities, license renewals, etc
∎ Follow up and maintain commercial reports related to Import activities and submit those to management as per requirement
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 42 years
∎ Excellent knowledge on HS code, customs act, import/export policy, banking terms and other relevant laws
∎ Hands on skills on SAP and other relevant software will be treated as added advantage
Salary: Negotiable
