∎ Advanced degrees or professional certifications in shipping and chartering will be a plus.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement comprehensive chartering strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
∎ Identify and evaluate potential chartering opportunities to maximize revenue and optimize fleet utilization.
∎ Stay informed about market trends, industry regulations, and competitive landscape related to chartering business.
∎ Negotiate charter party agreements with shipowners, brokers, and other relevant parties.
∎ Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions and manage any disputes effectively.
∎ Collaborate with the operations team to ensure optimal deployment and utilization of the company's fleet for chartering purposes.
∎ Monitor vessel performance and recommend improvements as needed.
∎ Prepare financial reports and analysis related to chartering activities.
∎ Monitor budgetary performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
∎ Ensure compliance with all relevant maritime regulations, international conventions, and industry standards.
∎ Lead and motivate the chartering team, providing guidance and support as needed.
∎ Foster a collaborative and performance-driven work environment.
