∎ Degree from any reputed University / Marine mercantile/ Marine fisheries.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Reports to Executive Director/ Managing Director.
∎ Department/Section :OPERATION
∎ Job Category MANAGER.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervises Operation and monitors efficiency and performance.
∎ Schedules and oversees all regulatory inspections. Addresses and corrects any issues arising from inspections.
∎ Works with customers and vessel providers within established budgets and time frames.
∎ Advises Coordinator on suitability of barges for projected work.
∎ Responds to emergency calls at night, weekends, and holidays.
∎ Must have experience of working with BIWTA, WTC, WTCLA, Port , DG shipping.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ 8-10 years' experience in a similar capacity / Age not exceeding 45 years.
∎ Experience of supervising operations and documentations of large fleet of Barge and Lighter vessels logistics (for project cargos, aggregate and coal transshipments).
∎ Ability to work independently and handle operations in multiple locations simultaneously.
∎ Strong English communication & interpersonal skills.
∎ Excellent customer management skills ( foreign and local ).
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ Inland water transportation operations & documentations.
∎ Strong knowledge of vessel lease vendors , construction yards etc.
