Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (i.e. Environmental Science/Engineering) with minimum CGPA of 3.00;

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring that projects are complied with EHS related regulatory requirements of Bangladesh as well as development partners;
∎ Reviewing of EHS risks associated with projects and IDCOL as a whole;
∎ Visiting the project sites to understand EHS related risks and supporting in designing appropriate mitigation strategies;
∎ Ensuring timely delivery of various EHS related monitoring reports; and
∎ Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidate with minimum 01 (one) year experience in the relevant field may be considered for Senior Officer position;
∎ Basic knowledge on major environmental rules and regulations of Bangladesh;
∎ Strong written and oral communication skills in Bengali and English;
∎ Strong skills in word processing, spreadsheet analysis and power point presentation; and
∎ Some work experience in development activities with energy access and climate change, relevant training and familiarization with EHS requirements of multilateral development banks would be added advantage;
