Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Lift Service Engineer with expertise in lift installation, commissioning, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth installation, efficient operation, and reliable performance of elevators and escalators. This role demands technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

∎ A) Installation and Commissioning:
∎ Oversee and execute the installation of lifts/elevators as per project specifications, blueprints, and manufacturer guidelines.
∎ Conduct testing, adjustments, and fine-tuning of lift systems during the commissioning phase.
∎ Verify compliance with safety and operational standards before handover to clients.

∎ B) Service and Maintenance:
∎ Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety of lift systems.
∎ Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in lifts and escalators.
∎ Replace faulty components and ensure repairs are completed within agreed timelines.

∎ C) Customer Support:
∎ Provide technical guidance and support to clients regarding proper lift usage and maintenance.
∎ Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime.
∎ Prepare detailed service reports and communicate effectively with clients and management.

∎ D) Compliance and Safety:
∎ Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies during installation, commissioning, and servicing activities.
∎ Stay updated on relevant codes, standards, and industry best practices for lift systems.
∎ Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate potential hazards.
