Educational Requirements:
∎ 4 Years Honors' and 1 Year Masters in Information Science & Library Management background from any recognized university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing all aspects of the library service including budgets and resources.
∎ Responsibility for developing a library and information resources
∎ Ensuring that library services meet the needs of users.
∎ Developing IT facilities in the library.
∎ Promoting the library's resources to users.
∎ Carry out any other duties commensurate with the post that may be required by the line manager.
∎ Management of staff and supervisory duties.
∎ Liaising with external organizations and suppliers.
∎ Ensuring that library services meet the needs of users.
∎ Selecting, developing, cataloguing and classifying library resources.
∎ Maintenance and development of on-line resources.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years experience in any recognized Institute.
∎ Familiar with the use of online research databases.
∎ Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
∎ Proficiency in spoken and written English.
∎ Excellent presentation skills.
∎ Excellent organizational and communication skills.
∎ Knowledge of digital library systems and services.
