Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering
∎ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/ Civil and Architectural Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred; experience in Geotechnical investigation is preferred.
∎ Skills Required: CAD Designing, Microsoft Office Applications

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review and approve civil and architectural design documents provided by the EPC contractor, ensuring that they meet project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory directives.
∎ Work collaboratively with the EPC contractor to ensure the seamless alignment of their work with the architectural design and civil works plan for the power plant construction. Proactively identify and promptly address any discrepancies or issues that may arise, to ensure the successful and timely completion of the project.
∎ Oversee the advancement of civil and architectural works, ensuring strict adherence to the predetermined timetable and structural plan, while providing periodic updates to the Construction Head.
∎ Participate in project meetings and conduct site visits as necessary, fostering efficient communication and cooperation among the EPC contractor, internal teams, and other pertinent stakeholders.
∎ Offer technical counsel and proficiency to the EPC contractor and project teams, ensuring that design and construction methodologies align with industry best practices and company standards.
∎ Evaluate project changes and provide recommendations on their impact on civil and architectural aspects, including cost, schedule, and quality.
∎ Identify and manage risks related to civil and architectural engineering, implementing mitigation strategies and contingency plans as necessary.
∎ Support the Construction Head in developing project schedules and budgets, providing input on civil and architectural engineering requirements and resource allocation.
∎ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices with the project team and the wider organization

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to civil and architectural engineering.
∎ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
∎ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and develop effective solutions.
∎ Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
