We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced individual for the position of AutoCAD & Die Section Coordinator to join our Die Section. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in Aluminium Extrusion Die Design, AutoCAD drawing, die development, die correction and die section coordination.

Key Job Responsiblities

• Prepare, modify and maintain Aluminium Extrusion Die drawings using AutoCAD.

• Coordinate all activities of the Die Section, including die planning, preparation, inspection, trial, correction, repair and maintenance.

• Maintain proper Die Stock Inventory and ensure accurate records of available, used, damaged, repaired and rejected dies.

• Monitor die stock and identify new die requirements based on production planning and future requirements.

• Prepare new die requisitions/orders according to approved profile drawings, specifications and production requirements.

• Coordinate with Chinese Die Suppliers for new die development, quotation, technical specifications, order placement, production status and delivery schedules.

• Communicate with Chinese suppliers regarding die drawings, technical corrections, trial results, modifications and die quality issues.

• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of new and modified dies.

• Coordinate with CNC, Wire Cut EDM, EDM, Die Shop, Extrusion, Production and Quality Control teams.

• Monitor and follow up on CNC, Wire Cut EDM and EDM machining work according to approved drawings and specifications. Operating these machines is not required, but practical knowledge of their processes and capabilities is essential.

• Check die dimensions, tolerances, accuracy and condition before production.

• Coordinate new die development, die trial and die correction based on extrusion trial results.

• Identify die-related problems such as die lines, dimension variation, uneven wall thickness, surface defects and other extrusion defects, and coordinate corrective actions.

• Follow up on die modification, repair and maintenance work.

• Maintain proper records of die numbers, die history, drawings, modifications, repairs, trial results and supplier information.

• Maintain and update all AutoCAD drawings and technical documents.

• Coordinate with Production Planning to ensure required dies are available according to the production schedule.

• Ensure proper identification, storage and maintenance of all dies and related tools.

• Support new aluminium profile development and die optimization.

• Prepare regular Die Stock, New Die Requirement and Supplier Follow-up Reports for management.

• Ensure all activities comply with company quality, safety and production standards.
