∎ Age 28 to 45 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Will be responsible for maintaining the overall team spirit amongst the medical lab technologists.
∎ Every day in the morning lab Incharge will check all the equipment’s in the laboratory such as incubators, water bath, microtome, chemical analyzers, hemoanalyzers etc. are all clean and dust-free, and will see that all these equipment’s are in perfect working order.
∎ Will maintain a list of all the equipment’s and see that these are properly cleaned every day. Will also ensure that the proper temperatures are maintained in all the freezes and incubators in the lab.
∎ He will have to develop leadership quality to lead the teams of medical lab technologists so that the work process follows a smooth pattern in the laboratory without any friction.
∎ He will help all medical lab technologists if they are in need of any assistance in their work.
∎ Follow the laid-down procedure for waste disposal and have knowledge of laboratory Biosafety.
∎ Delivers patients’ test reports according to times indicated in policy and standard operating procedures (SOP).
∎ Responsible for distribution of printed test results to the OPD and various floors in the IPD·
∎ Will trace all the ‘urgent’ tests and the tests received from A & E dept. and ensure the lab report delivery as per TAT.
∎ Any other duty or assigned by the management.
