∎ Previous experience in an accounting role is an advantage but not mandatory.
∎ Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite (Excel) Ability
∎ Excellent time-management skills
∎ Good verbal written communication abilities
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Familiarity with basic banking processes is preferred (e.g., cheque processing)
∎ Strong attention to detail & accuracy when handling numerical data
∎ The position operates primarily travel may be required for bank & within an office environment.
∎ Cheque Deposits:
∎ Process cheques for deposit at designated banks.
∎ Document collection processes and maintain communication logs.
∎ Commercial Document Management:
∎ Assist in preparing commercial documents related to transactions (invoices, receipts).
∎ Ensure proper filing and documentation of all financial records pertaining to collections
∎ Support monthly bank reconciliation efforts by ensuring accurate recording of transactions.
∎ Communicate effectively with team members regarding ongoing projects or issues related to accounts receivable activities.
∎ Job Summary: The Junior Executive in the Accounts Department will assist with various banking operations related to cheque deposits, collection of funds, and management of commercial documents. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external bank personnel.
