Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To assist in shift operation of the power plant.
∎ Accountable to the concern shift responsible for the proper discharge of the assigned duties.
∎ Keep informing the Control Room Shift responsible for any abnormality and corrective measures taken by yourself or whether to be done by the concerned Shift responsible engineer.
∎ Replenish/top up the lube oil, coolant, Hydraulic Oil, and Feed Water to the system as and when necessary.
∎ Take readings of all the gauges and parameters at a prescribed interval and record them in the respective Log Books.
∎ Write all the relevant events of the shift in the Shift Log Book including any pending actions to be taken in the next shift.
∎ Ensure proper Handing/Taking over of the duties among the senior operators of the relieving and the next shift.
