Job Responsibilities:
∎ To assist in shift operation of the power plant.
∎ Accountable to the concern Asst. Manager (Operation) /Sr. Asst. Manager (Operation)/Deputy Manager (Operation) for the proper discharge of the assigned duties.
∎ Keep informing the Control Room Shift responsible for any abnormality and corrective measures taken by yourself or whether to be done by the concerned Shift responsible engineer.
∎ Replenish/top up the lube oil, coolant, Hydraulic Oil, and Feed Water to the system as and when necessary.
∎ Take readings of all the gauges and parameters at a prescribed interval and record them in the respective Log Books.
∎ Write all the relevant events of the shift in the Shift Log Book including any pending actions to be taken in the next shift.
∎ Ensure proper Handing/Taking over of the duties among the senior operators of the relieving and the next shift.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 27 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have working knowledge about all the operating system and controls (electrical, mechanical & electro-mechanical), Electrical Distribution System, supervision of the running machinery (main & auxiliary).
∎ Must be fully conversant with the Single Line Diagram of the Plant's Power Generation & Evacuation System.
∎ Must be fully conversant with the P&ID of the following system relating to the Simple Cycle Operation:
∎ To be able to contact with the NLDC Authority (land and Mobile Phone numbers) at time of any need.
∎ Experience in HFO engines is highly preferable
∎ Hand on experience in operating Wartsila engine will be an added advantage
Salary: Negotiable
