Job Responsibilities:
∎ JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ To Plan, Organize; supervise the execution of periodic & Breakdown maintenance activities of captive Power Plant, Steam generation system, Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning system, MGP & peripherals, Water Treatment Plant, Plumbing System & Waste Water Treatment Plant.
∎ To monitor plant operation on a regular basis
∎ To involve directly in maintenance activities wherever applicable.
∎ To supervise & guide the operators & staffs of mechanical team for better utilization of time & manpower within the shift.
∎ To monitor periodic maintenance activities & carrying out related documentation according to the PM schedule.
∎ To ensure safety & security of man & machine during whether in operation or not.
∎ To train & develop the operators & other staffs for skill & knowledge enhancement
∎ To communicate & take initiatives for external services or material acquirement
∎ Documenting daily activity as a report on the log-book & deliver all the recorded information in an explanatory manner to the HOD & in charge of next shift.
∎ To plan & develop existing facility or system for higher efficiency & effectiveness.
∎ To carry out facility round as per schedule.
∎ Maintain database regarding the usable life of each apparatus for detecting the upcoming depreciable instruments.
∎ Keep available stock of all types of spare parts required for smooth operation of plants.
∎ Prepare estimated spare parts required for preventive maintenance & major over hauling.
∎ Respond to Complaint & handling it in organized manner with proper documentation.
∎ To conduct training as a resource person, wherever applicable.
∎ Identify indiscipline in the department and informs it to Manager.
∎ Find out unsolved complaints from any department and refers the problems to concerned person.
∎ Conduct weekly session with employees regarding theoretical study and practical training.
∎ Supervise, monitor & keep up date inventory of Facility Management Department store as and when required.
∎ To take part in investigating the incidence as an FMD senior member whenever instructed by the HOD
∎ ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Provide initial support in any problems of all plants.
∎ Contact with due authority in case of major problems.
∎ Regulate the activities of subordinates of entire shift.
∎ Monitor & follow up all types of recorded complaints.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
∎ 2 to 5 years' experience in related field
∎ TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
∎ Well-equipped working environment is provided with necessary system supports. Adequate safety and security are ensured for any engineering operations.
∎ In case of emergency, it may be required sometimes to work beyond regular office hours.
∎ Physical abilities described here are representative of that must be met by an employee to accomplish the essential responsibilities of the job. However, reasonable accommodations may be made for the differently able individuals. The incumbent must be able to use hands, fingers and able to move frequently. A healthy respiratory system is necessary for this job. A routine pre-employment medical examination is required
∎ A clear understanding on construction and functioning of Central AC, Generator, Pump, Boiler, Medical Gas Plant , Water Supply Systems, STP & ETP
∎ An excellent level of practical knowledge on electro-mechanical appliances commonly used for commercial purposes
∎ Working knowledge on safety and maintenance measures of present machines
