Job Context:
∎ Diploma/MD in Anesthesiology from a recognized Medical College/Institution.
∎ Expertise in administering various types of anesthesia and managing preoperative care.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Evaluate patients before surgery, conduct pre-operative assessments and determining the most suitable anesthesia plan.
∎ Administer various types of anesthesia, including general, regional, and local anesthesia, to patients of all ages.
∎ Monitor patient vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation, during surgery to ensure stability.
∎ Adjust anesthesia levels and administer additional medications as needed to maintain the desired level of sedation and pain control.
∎ Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care during surgery.
∎ Provide anesthesia support for a wide range of surgical procedures, including but not limited to orthopedic, cardiac, and pediatric surgeries.
∎ Manage post-anesthesia recovery, ensuring patients wake up safely and comfortably.
∎ Respond to any anesthesia-related emergencies promptly and effectively.
∎ Stay current with advancements in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.
∎ Adhere to medical ethics, patient confidentiality, and all relevant healthcare regulations.
