Responsibilities & Context:
∎ ·         To be an exemplary teacher, clearly demonstrating effective planning, teaching and organization, and high standards of achievement and behavior in Japanese lessons.
∎ using a range of strategies and tools to assess student learning.
∎ using student assessment to improve teaching and learning.
∎ To Teach with pace, clarity and ensure all children are interested and engaged in their learning
∎ To ensure a high focus is placed on all four areas of language learning – reading, writing, speaking and listening, including the learning and use of hiragana, katakana and kanji.
∎ To provide high quality written and verbal Knowledge
∎ Teaching methodologies appropriate to mixed ability as well as multi-cultural backgrounds.
∎ A desire to promote the Japanese culture and language to students
∎ Prepare Students for NAT and JLPT Proficiency test
∎ Embassy Preparation class and test for students
