∎ Ideal candidates possess Bachelor’s degrees (Master’s preferred) in a field related to the courses for which they are applying, some international work or travel experience, and a desire for a career in international education. We especially encourage candidates who are familiar with American-style liberal arts education and multicultural learning environments. We are looking for faculty who are comfortable making learning participatory, active and engaging.
∎ Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the Dean of Faculty and/or the Pre-Undergraduate Program Director. Successful candidates will be assessed by an objective measure for their English (and Maths for Maths Instructors) competency before a contract is issued.
∎ We welcome qualified candidates with limited teaching experience to apply as Fellows. Fellows will have the opportunity for professional development through Teacher Training courses alongside their normal teaching load.
Salary:
∎ Attractive compensation package as per AUW policy
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Shared semi-furnished housing facilities may be available for candidates from outside Chittagong. Subject to demand, sole housing may also be available in case a candidate's family members migrate to Chittagong. Other benefits as per AUW policy.
