Job Context:
∎ Institute of Management and Technology (SIMT); which is the largest private polytechnic institute of the country to receive grant from the World Bank. With the mission of creating skilled manpower, in June 2001, only one technology (Diploma in Computer Engineering) was started in Saic Institute of Management & Technology (SIMT). In the very first year of it`s` journey, all the approved seats of SIMT were filled. With the ever increasing demands, in the year of 2018-19, 12 more technical courses are being added and number of seats increased to 1008.
∎ The role of the Instructor is to take responsibility for a particular course and to support the planning, development, and delivery of that course. The Instructor has a key role of assisting the Department Head in assuring the quality of BTEB (Bangladesh Technical Education Board) academic programs and facilitating student success at the Institutions. The role encompasses course planning, course design and development, course delivery, selection of educational resources, assessment, students` learning outcomes, and course evaluation.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Coordinate and guide the Students of his own class
∎ • Check the Lesson Plan if it is done according to the Syllabus and present the same to the section in-charge for approval
∎ • Counsel to the Guardians/ Parents as and when required
∎ • Organize different Annual Programs (Science Fair, Cultural Program, Debates etc.)
∎ • Take initiative whenever it is necessary in order to uphold the image of the Institution
∎ • Take initiatives against any sort of disciplined activities by any of the subordinates or students
∎ • Supervise the Teacher - Parents meeting and Result Day
∎ • Counsel Parents/Guardians regarding their children's problems
∎ • Conduct theoretical & Practical Classes as per BTEB and SAIC Management
∎ • Motivate and Counsel the students and their parents/guardians through follow-up to ensure 85% class attendance and to reduce dropout
∎ • Facilitate in-house skill training for the teaching staff
∎ • Assist Department Head as per his/ her needed
∎ • Prepare weekly attendance report and submit to the Course Coordinator
∎ • Prepare lesson plan and semester plan at the beginning of the subject
∎ • Positive willingness for Team work & Hardworking
∎ • To arranged industrial attachment training & Industrial tour for students
∎ • Any other duties as assigned from time to time

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ • At least One (1) year experience as a Instructor/ Teacher/ Lecturer in a formal Educational Institution
∎ • Teaching/ Training, Education Administration/ Management, Education Counseling, Curriculum/ Program Development, ToT (Training of Teachers)
∎ • Proficiency in Auto CAD (2D/3D), 3D Max, Revit Architecture and sketch up software will be an add advantage
∎ • Candidate must be good at communication and must have adequate knowledge in producing all sorts of reports and presentations
∎ • Candidate should be able to function effectively independently as well as in groups
∎ • Ability to work on tight schedule and must be able to meet the deadlines
∎ • Hardworking, honest, energetic and innovative
∎ • Have creativity, integrity, initiatives and imagination
∎ • Prepared to accept challenges and work under pressure

Salary:
∎ Tk. 14000 - 14400 (Monthly)
∎ Based on Relevant Experience Basic Salary will increase on a predetermined ratio. There are options for payments on Examination Invigilation Duties and Checking of Examination Scripts.
