∎ Experience in working with GSD or any other SMV calculating package will be an added advantage.
∎ Experience in handling individual efficiency calculating software will be an advantage.
∎ Excellent oral and written communication in English
∎ Should have strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and negotiation skills
∎ Looking for smart, energetic, pro-active and career-oriented candidate.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Computer literacy especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point).

∎ Eastport Limited, 100% Export Oriented Garments Industry based in Cumilla Export Processing Zone, Bangladesh is currently seeking applications for the position of an Industrial Engineer. Eastport Limited is a manufacturing unit of PORTWEST, Ireland a leading global manufacturer of safety wear.
∎ Eastport is looking to hire an Industrial Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate should have capability to handle 4 - 5 sewing production lines with all IE functions for the high SMV above 50 to 130 minutes garments like jackets, coveralls, trousers. Candidate should have experience to control the QCO for the small qty orders. Should have 3 years or more experience in related field with the related product category.

∎ Sound knowledge in efficient sewing Layout & line balancing for the high SMV garments.
∎ Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in the production processes to improve overall productivity.
∎ Implement effective production control measures to prevent delays and bottlenecks.
∎ Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
∎ Follow-up the low efficiency lines and low efficient workers and take the initiative to improve the efficiency levels.
∎ Capability to analysis the individual operator details through the system and prepare the action plan to improve the skills.
∎ Co-ordinate with production/Technical team for the worker skill development and efficiency improvement.
∎ Able to work for the company provided KPIs.
