Educational Requirements:
∎ M.Sc in Electrical Engineering/IPE/Mechanical/ Chemical/Production from local or international reputed Universities

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 20 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ This position is responsible for overall Plant Operations of LHBL, and also takes part in the country strategic matters as part of country EXCOM (Executive Committee) member. Plant Director will be based at Chattak managing approximately 340 people in the plant, and would report to the Chief Executive Officer.

∎ RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ This position will be responsible for overall Plant activities and formulating strategies for operations to achieve targets in clinker & cement production and dispatch.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency of production, maintenance and quality assurance would also be a core responsibility of the position.
∎ Ensuring a safe workplace based on the LafargeHolcim Group Health & Safety guideline would always be the highest priority for this position.
∎ It is also expected that the Plant Director would ensure the compliance of manufactured products, foster innovation and consistently update quality assurance activities as per the Group guideline.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 20 years experience in an Integrated Cement Plant of a large multinational company
∎ Orientation with Quarry operations will be preferred
∎ Able to manage and lead a big diverse team of local expatriate employees
∎ Wide Knowledge in Clinker and Cement manufacturing process, raw materials, logistics and plant efficiency
∎ Good knowledge of industrial legislations ( labour, safety, environment, etc)
∎ Excellent Leadership skill to develop people
∎ Ability to deal with ambiguity
∎ Quick decision making ability
