Job Responsibilities:
∎ This position is responsible for operations of the cement plants of the Company across Bangladesh, quarry operations in Meghalaya, India and also the operations of the cross border long belt conveyor systems. Among others, the Plant Managers and Head of Quarry shall be reporting to this position. The position shall be reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and shall be the member of the Executive Committee (Exco) of the Company. Based at Chattak Sunamganj, managing approximately 450 people in the plants and quarry, the position shall be involved in the country strategic matters.

∎ RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ This position will be responsible for overall Plant and quarry activities and formulating strategies for operations to achieve targets in clinker & cement production and dispatch.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency of production, maintenance and quality assurance would also be a core responsibility of the position.
∎ Ensuring a safe workplace based on the LafargeHolcim Group Health & Safety guideline would always be the highest priority for this position.
∎ It is also expected that the Industrial Director would ensure the compliance of manufactured products, foster innovation and consistently update quality assurance activities as per the Group guideline.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 15 years of experience. Experience in Integrated Cement Plant and Quarry Operations shall be most preferred.
∎ Wide Knowledge in Clinker and Cement manufacturing process, raw materials, logistics and plant & quarry efficiency
∎ Leadership skill & communication skill
∎ The position is open for both national and international candidates.
