Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from a reputed University
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Follow up activities concerned with the construction of structures, facilities, and systems.
∎ Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
∎ General controlling over engineering activities including exchange of plans, drawings and other information with customers.
∎ Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites
∎ Requisition supplies and materials to complete construction projects.
∎ Report work progress and budget matters to clients
∎ Select, schedule and coordinate subcontractor activities
∎ Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
∎ Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
∎ Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years experience of Electrical Construction of large project.
∎ Candidates with Power Plant project experience will get preference.
∎ Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the Electrical works of HFO fired Power plant
∎ Must have the ability to lead a team of engineers, technicians and workers
∎ Skills & abilities to conduct tests & inspections of construction works to evaluate quality
∎ Effective stakeholder management
∎ Fundamental skill of Project Management
∎ Confident interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely
∎ Sound knowledge in MS Office
