Job Context:
∎ The role of the BMS Supervisor is to ensure the effective operation of the client`s building Management System providing expert knowledge, guidance and support in its development and to ensure the safe and timely completion of planned and reactive maintenance of the Building Management System. He/she will work closely with the Building Operations Manager, engineers and managers to deliver continued support of building services, to ensure minimum down time, increased efficiency and end user satisfaction
∎ Employment Status: Full-time. Shift duty (7 AM-2 PM, 2 PM-9PM)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide expert knowledge, guidance and leadership in the development of the BMS.
∎ Lead and direct internal staff and contractors in the planned, preventative and reactive maintenance of the BMS and any system or software upgrades.
∎ Complete fault diagnosis and rectification on the whole range of BMS equipment.
∎ Identify potential systems software and hardware issues that may lead to unnecessary failure of services, thereby minimizing risk, disruption and inconvenience to building users.
∎ Keep abreast of technical developments particularly associated with new technology in building engineering services and building management and in all aspects of the mechanical and electrical disciplines and to contribute to departmental engineering policies.
∎ Train Maintenance Teams, Heating Engineers, trades and other staff in the operation and use of the BMS and metering systems.
∎ Respond to and resolve Helpdesk work requests within the timescales specified on the work requests.
∎ Ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time.
∎ Provide information as requested for risk registers, condition surveys and databases.
∎ Escalate issues found during maintenance requiring capital investment, e.g. replacement items following repeat maintenance visits.
∎ Maintain the health and safety of self and others at all times by adhering to Health and Safety legislation and the University's Health and Safety Policy and additional safe working practices outlined in the Departmental Safety Handbook
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Candidates should have sound knowledge in integrated facility management and Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) software.
∎ Excellent communication skills both in Bangla and English
∎ Basic computer skill such MS Office Suite.
∎ Able to work independently
