Responsibilities & Context:
We are looking for a gentle, patient, and child-friendly Home Tutor for a 5-year-old child following the International Baccalaureate (IB) – Primary Years Programme (PYP).
The tutor will support early childhood development through play-based, inquiry-based, and activity-oriented learning at our residence in Gulshan-2, Dhaka.
Responsibilities
- Teach according to IB PYP philosophy (inquiry-based, concept-focused learning)
- Support Early Child Development through structured and playful activities
- Teach basic:
- Mathematics (numeracy, patterns, logic)
- English (phonics, speaking, reading readiness)
- Bangla (basic reading, speaking, rhymes)
- General Communication (confidence, expression, social skills)
- Use stories, games, visuals, and real-life examples
- Create a positive, pressure-free learning environment
- Communicate progress regularly with parents
