Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitor and update the status of statutory and trending certificates of fleet vessels from time to time.
∎ Keep follow up and make report to DPA (Designated Person Ashore)/ADPA (Alternative Designated Person Ashore) if any certificates required to renew/ extension.
∎ Collect statutory and trending certificate from the fleet vessels after any renewal/changes carried out by flag/class and upload the same on HSEQ database.
∎ Maintain a database of all certificate status and make sure availability to OGV & Chartering team.
∎ Collect various monthly reports from the fleet vessels and update the same on HSEQ database upon reviewed by DPA/ADPA.
∎ Keep records and documentation of all reports i.e. internal audits, external audits, PSC (Port State Control) report, third party Audit report and update on HSEQ database for easy accessibility of OGV & Chartering team.
∎ Ensure that all the closure reports are uploaded in HSEQ database after closing out all deficiencies.
∎ Keep track of any pending deficiencies (i.e. PSC, External Audit and third party Audit) as per inspection report.
∎ Update SMS (Safety Management System) manual including forms, checklists as and when required on database after DPA/ADPA approval.
∎ Preserve all NEAR MISS Data Reports of fleet vessels properly.
∎ Keep track of new circulars/any changes of IMO (International Maritime Organization) regulation and notify DPA/ADPA accordingly.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Candidate must have 1 (One) year Sea experience as 3rd Officer.
∎ Sound knowledge on IMO (International Maritime Organization) & ISM (International Safety Management) code.
∎ Practical experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Email correspondence.
∎ Sound written and verbal communication in English and Bengali.
