Responsibilities & Context:
- Assigns housekeeping staff to their duties and inspects their work to ensure it meets established cleanliness standards.
- Addresses complaints related to housekeeping services and equipment, taking appropriate corrective actions.
- Coordinates work activities across different departments.
- Conducts orientation and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures, and demonstrate the proper use and maintenance of equipment to team members.
- Maintains inventory to ensure an adequate supply of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Checks all room appliances to confirm they are in good working order.
- Provides clear instructions to housekeeping attendants for adjusting furniture, desk items, and appliances as needed.
- Establishes standards and procedures for the housekeeping team, ensuring company policies are followed in welcoming and acknowledging all guests.
