Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in Social Science, Development Studies, Disaster Management, Public Administration or any relevant subjects from any recognized University.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work in close collaboration with the Project Director, ERP for formulation of project proposal, FD-7, concept note, overall planning, project formulation, budgeting and writings, editing and finalization of various reports of assigned projects or Emergency Response Program (ERP) and in coordination with Emergency Response Program (ERP) Team of Caritas Cox's Bazar Office.
∎ Work closely with Project Director, ERP, Caritas Bangladesh- ERP Office & other partners of ERP in implementing the assigned projects of ERP as per the standard policies of Caritas and as per the regulations stipulated in the project agreement.
∎ Assist Project Director, ERP to analyze the situation of forcibly displaced Myanmar Citizens in Bangladesh and the host community people and make effective action plans and to take up necessary actions for implementation under the purview of the project goals.
∎ Responsible for implementing the assigned projects of ERP.
∎ Prepare project budget and FD-7 and pprepare detailed activity plan according to the approved ERP project and disseminate the plan among the project staff with proper guidance for effective implementation of the project.
∎ Undertake field visits to the ERP project areas to see the implementation; the growth and challenges of the planned activities as per the project proposal and/or agreement with Donors.
∎ Lead the program/project staff members of ERP for implementation of the projects complying with Govt. and Donor's Policies/Guidelines including Caritas Policies and Guidelines. Provide guidance and technical supports to the program staff of ERP for proper implementation of the project activities as well as to achieve the project's goal.

∎ Work in close collaboration with Accounts team to carry out any necessary budget adjustments/ re-arrangement in accordance with Donor and Caritas policy.
∎ Keep Project Director, ERP updated on compliance of donor, NGOAB and Caritas Bangladesh policies and the progress of project interventions. Respond to queries of donors regarding different aspects of program, policy and procedures of ERP.
∎ Facilitate monitoring/ control of budget utilization of the ERP projects as per the rules and procedure of Caritas in order to comply with the stipulations of the Donors and NGO Affairs Bureau.
∎ Ensure timely qualitative reporting to the ERP donors' as per Donors' requirement or 'Deed of Agreement' and prepare report for government bodies, governing bodies of Caritas and Caritas Annual Report.
∎ Facilitate/initiate base line survey, mid-term review, impact study, evaluation, research, when necessary. Use the lessons learned and recommendations of the surveys to improve the program quality.
∎ Liaise with government, UN, INGOs and other NG0s working in Cox's Bazari.
∎ Prepare reports/case study on the program outputs, results and objectives of assigned project as per need for Caritas Internationalis (CI)/donors, government bodies, governing bodies of Caritas and Caritas Annual Report.
∎ Organize and facilitate donor visit and negotiate with donors for funding towards new projects.
∎ Organize and facilitate training/seminar/workshop/meeting.
∎ Initiate advocacy, lobbying on different issues related to Emergency Response Program (ERP), and involve members of the civil societies, government officials, politicians, church bodies, Caritas Internationalists, media and mass people through effective coordination and active participation.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 6 years' relevant experience including minimum 2 years' experience at managerial level in the similar job in any reputed NGO/INGOs.
∎ Working experience in Emergency Response Program Sector across the NGOs/INGOS, including a good understanding.
∎ A good understanding of Project Management, Safeguarding, Child Protection and PSEA (Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse).
∎ Experience working with stakeholders at various levels and strengthening community partnerships.
∎ Good understanding of MEAL and community-based approaches.
∎ Knowledge of the culture and context of Bangladesh.
∎ Experience in interacting and negotiating with government counterparts and other international and local organizations working in the emergency response sector at the highest level.
∎ Strong experience of managing large multicultural, multidisciplinary teams as well as multisectoral projects.
∎ Knowledge on operating ICT particularly on MS Excel, MS Word (both Bangla & English), Power Point etc., is essential.
∎ Ability to engage with local and international agencies.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and training skills.
∎ Able to problem solve and identify resources in the environment.
∎ Shows persistence when faced with difficult problems or challenges.
∎ Should be fluent in communication both in writing and speaking in English language
∎ Should be self-driven and positive to work in a team.
∎ Should have "can do' attitude and able to handle multiple tasks managing priorities
∎ Committed to work following organizational aims, values, principal and policies.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

Salary: Tk. 120000 - 140000 (Monthly)
