Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Industrial Engineering & Production (IPE) / Mechanical Engineering from SUST/KUET/RUET/BUET will get preference.
∎ Having a PGD in SCM/PMP/ Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM) from International Supply Chain Education Alliance will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for industrial engineering, planning, and supply chain activities to align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
∎ Team Management: Lead and manage a team of industrial engineers, planners, supply chain analysts, and professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure high performance and professional development.
∎ Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement, operational efficiency, and cost reduction through the application of industrial engineering methodologies, lean principles, and best practices across the entire supply chain.
∎ Supply Chain Management: Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including demand planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution, to ensure optimal flow of materials and products.
∎ Capacity Planning: Analyze production capacity, forecast demand, and develop plans to optimize resource allocation, production scheduling, and inventory management in alignment with supply chain requirements.
∎ Workflow Analysis: Conduct time and motion studies, value stream mapping, and other analytical techniques to identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and eliminate waste in production processes and supply chain operations.
∎ Production Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, logistics, sales, and customer service, to develop production plans that meet customer demand, optimize inventory levels, and minimize lead times.
∎ Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials, quality assurance, and continuous improvement in supplier performance.
∎ Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and monitor operational and supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
∎ Technology Implementation: Identify and implement appropriate technological solutions, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, supply chain management software, and data analytics tools, to improve planning accuracy, visibility, and decision-making processes across the supply chain.
∎ Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and optimization studies to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve profitability, and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources throughout the supply chain.
∎ Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments and external partners to ensure effective communication, alignment of objectives, and coordination of activities related to industrial engineering, planning, and supply chain management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ At least 14 year(s) of Proven experience in industrial engineering, production planning, supply chain management, or operations management, with a strong focus on process optimization, capacity planning, and supply chain optimization.
∎ In-depth knowledge of industrial engineering methodologies, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
∎ Extensive expertise in supply chain management, including demand forecasting, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
∎ Proficiency in using industrial engineering tools, supply chain management software, and data analytics tools for analysis, modeling, and decision-making.
∎ Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team across multiple functional areas.
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a data-driven approach.
∎ Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
∎ Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
∎ Solid understanding of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in industrial engineering, planning, and supply chain management.
