∎ Masters in any discipline / MBA will be preferred.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ #Operations#:
∎ Responsible for achieving improvements in the logistics operating efficiency.
∎ Organizational structure: develop, implement and maintain the optimum organizational structure of logistics with the most suitable arrangement with managers, supervisors and team leaders.
∎ Working with HR, ensure that Planning & Training and development rule are in place, maintained and followed.
∎ Ensure that all logistics workers maintain a safe, productive and disciplined working environment.
∎ Operational processes: develop, implement, maintain and enlarge standard operating procedures for all Logistics processes and working methods.
∎ Process measurement: develop and maintain KPIs for each operational process, showing performance against budget or target.
∎ Responsibility for costs, service, productivity and documentation compliance, on-time delivery, transfer etc.

∎ # Capacity and resource planning#:
∎ Determine Points of work at scrap yard and storage capacity planning.
∎ Throughput and alternative capacity planning.
∎ Short term planning for manpower, shift patterns, recruitment, resource deployment.
∎ Planning activities over an operational time frame (1 day to several weeks), governing smooth inbound flow, bulk storage locations, layout, alternative capacity etc.
∎
∎ #Supply chain infrastructure#:
∎ Responsible for the smooth flow of Materials in coordination with supply chain.
∎ Development and implementation of the supply strategy for Materials.
∎ Review and update the supply chain strategy in the light of business developments and supply chain optimization opportunities.
∎
∎ #Business duties#:
∎ The head of logistics will liaise with, gather necessary information from and influence other heads of business and departmental managers.
∎ Budget preparation and attainment of budgeted costs.
∎ Recruitment, training and development of workers
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
