Job Context:
∎ A leading FMCG multinational company is looking for an experienced and analytical Head of Finance/ Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with strong numerical skills and strategic thinking competence to drive their organization`s financial operations and improve financial performance. Duties for the Head of Finance/ Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will include formulating change management across functions so as to bring about synergy and enhance financial performance of the business, ensure flawless execution of accounting staff, overseeing internal controls, setting financial targets, implementing fund-raising strategies, engaging with investors, developing company`s financial strategy, conducting feasibility studies for revenue generation and gross margin expansion, monitoring expenditure, overseeing annual insurance, monitoring cash flow, evaluating investments, and managing direct and indirect tax compliance. Your skills in sound financial planning coupled with your ability to direct and leverage financial assets will assist our organization in implementing effective financial strategies, managing debt, improving revenue, maintaining a healthy financial position and enhancing investor confidence.
∎ The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, good strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, exceptional numerical proficiency, and strong leadership skills. The noteworthy candidate should harmonize financial operations, develop effective financial strategies, guide efforts towards financial stability, monitor all financial activities, promote revenue growth, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, have knowledge on the commercial law, corporate governance securities law and maintain good relationships with investors.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Directing financial planning and strategy.
∎ Analyzing and reporting on financial performance.
∎ Overseeing audit along with direct and indirect tax functions.
∎ Developing and implementing accounting policies.
∎ Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets.
∎ Ensuring timely and proper statutory and group reporting audits.
∎ Lead accounting staff.
∎ Reviewing departmental budgets.
∎ Assessing, managing and minimizing financial risks to the business.
∎ Analyzing complex financial data.
∎ Managing internal controls.
∎ Managing the balance sheet structure to minimize cost of capital.
∎ Optimal management of company's Net Working Capital, cash and cash equivalents.
∎ Effective tax management ensuring compliance with all tax laws including VAT.

Additional Requirements:
∎ More than 7 years of full-time work experience in multiple finance-based roles including significant international exposure with globally operating Multinational Companies in the FMCG industry.
∎ Qualified Chartered Accountant.
∎ Experience of leading projects and teams.
∎ Proficiency in accounting software.
∎ Financial management experience.
∎ Strong aptitude for math.
∎ Good communication skills.
∎ Computer literacy.
∎ Strong analytical skills.
∎ Broad knowledge of accounting principles.
