Job Context:
∎ Head of Department - Nutrition Health & Surveillance is responsible to define the strategies and coordinate activities of Action Contre la Faim (ACF) in the fields of Health, Nutrition and Surveillance in Bangladesh and represent ACF Bangladesh in internal and external forums. To lead and coordinate health and nutrition assessments e.g. integrated anthropometric nutrition surveys (SMART/SENS), nutrition coverage assessments (SQUEAC, SLEAC), emergency nutrition surveillance system (NESS), needs assessments and any other assessments for Action Against Hunger-Bangladesh. Will work in close collaboration with the MEAL, Human Resource, Logistics and Finance departments.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 10 years of professional experience including 5 years' experience in nutrition and health programming (with a focus on child and women health) and coordination role. Professional experience in nutrition survey and surveillance project along with at least 1 (one) year experience in CMAM program.
∎ Excellent analytical capacity including knowledge in the field of epidemiology. Team player with capacity to lead. Capacity building (training and supervision) skills. Project cycle management/M&E/reporting skills. Team management skills. Very organized, with priorities and time management skills. Statistical software skills mainly: ENA for SMART, Epi Info 7 and SPSS.
Salary: Tk. 187000 (Monthly)
