গ্রীন অ্যান্ড গ্রে ল্যান্ডস্কেপ (Green and Gray Landscape)-এর মালি (Gardener) পদের মূল দায়িত্বসমূহ:
সুপারভাইজারের নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী রোপণ: ল্যান্ডস্কেপিং প্রকল্পের নকশা ও পরিকল্পনা অনুযায়ী সুপারভাইজার বা ল্যান্ডস্কেপ আর্কিটেক্টের দেওয়া নির্দেশনা অনুসারে নির্দিষ্ট স্থানে গাছ, গুল্ম ও ঘাস রোপণ করা।
সঠিক বিন্যাস ও দূরত্ব বজায় রাখা: নকশা অনুযায়ী প্রতিটি গাছের সঠিক দূরত্ব, গভীরতা ও এলাইনমেন্ট ঠিক রেখে প্ল্যান্টেশন সম্পন্ন করা।
ইনডোর ও আউটডোর প্ল্যান্ট পরিচর্যা: ইনডোর ও আউটডোর গাছপালার সার্বিক যত্ন নেওয়া, রোপণ করা এবং প্রয়োজনে টব পরিবর্তন করা।
পানি ও পুষ্টি ব্যবস্থাপনা: নিয়ম মেনে গাছে নিয়মিত পানি দেওয়া, সঠিক পরিমাণে জৈব ও রাসায়নিক সার প্রদান এবং প্রয়োজনীয় কীটনাশক প্রয়োগ করা।
ছাঁটাই ও আকৃতি দান (Pruning & Trimming): ল্যান্ডস্কেপের সৌন্দর্য বজায় রাখতে গাছের ডালপালা, লন ও ঝোপঝাড় নিয়মিত ছাঁটাই করে নির্দিষ্ট আকৃতি দেওয়া।
মাটি প্রস্তুত ও আগাছা দমন: গাছের জন্য মাটি প্রস্তুত করা, মাটি আলগা ও উর্বর রাখা এবং বাগান থেকে ক্ষতিকর আগাছা পরিষ্কার করা।
রোগবালাই শনাক্তকরণ ও প্রতিকার: গাছে কোনো রোগ বা পোকামাকড়ের আক্রমণ হলে তা দ্রুত শনাক্ত করে প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া।
সরঞ্জাম রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ: বাগানে ব্যবহৃত সব ধরনের যন্ত্রপাতি ও সরঞ্জাম (যেমন: ট্রিমার, ওয়াটার পাইপ, কাঁচি ইত্যাদি) সঠিকভাবে ব্যবহার, পরিষ্কার ও নিরাপদ হেফাজতে রাখা।
Job Responsibilities for Gardener – Green and Gray Landscape
Planting per Supervisor Instructions: Plant trees, shrubs, and grass at designated locations according to the landscaping project design, layout, and direct guidance from the supervisor or landscape architect.
Proper Alignment and Spacing: Ensure correct spacing, digging depth, and structural alignment for all plants as specified in the project plan.
Indoor and Outdoor Plant Care: Maintain, position, and care for both indoor and outdoor plants, including potting and repotting when necessary.
Water and Nutrient Management: Follow watering schedules, apply the appropriate organic and chemical fertilizers, and handle pesticide applications as required.
Pruning and Trimming: Regularly trim lawns, bushes, hedges, and tree branches to maintain visual aesthetics and plant health.
Soil Preparation and Weeding: Prepare, loosen, and condition soil for planting while systematically removing weeds and unwanted vegetation.
Pest and Disease Monitoring: Inspect plants regularly for signs of disease or pest infestations and report/treat them promptly.
Equipment Maintenance: Clean, maintain, and safely store all gardening tools and equipment (e.g., trimmers, shears, hoses, and sprayers).
