Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) in Fine Arts, Diploma in Engineering, Bachelor degree in any discipline

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): 2D (Auto Cad), 3D CAD, Furniture and Interior
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Furniture Manufacturer

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Designs furniture for manufacture, according to knowledge of design trends, offerings of competition, production costs, capability of production facilities, and characteristics of company's market: Confers with production, design, and sales personnel to obtain design suggestions and customer orders.
∎ Obtains approval from customer, design committee, or authorized company officials, and originates scale or full size drawing, using drawing instruments
∎ Must knowledge about design on sofa, window, door and decorative accents for furniture pieces.
∎ Have knowledge of design trends, competitive prices and the ability to meet specific needs of manufacturers and other clients.
∎ Prepares itemized production requirements to produce item
∎ Traces drawing on material for use in production of blueprints, using drawing instruments.
∎ May build or oversee construction of models or prototypes
∎ Can sketch and create prototypes and models for production.
∎ Must be able to look over the requests of management or clients and draw out a structure and design that they believe will fit their needs.
∎ Also determine the types of equipment, upholstery, patterns and colors that need to be used in order to create a piece of furniture.
∎ Providing policy guidelines to the members of the Factory.
∎ Preparing method statements of all the works / jobs with specifications of all the constituent items.
∎ Improving workmanship, quality of each item of work and the product.
∎ Finding out ways for cost minimization and cost efficient material as well as work methods.
∎ To check and ensure following on regular intervals:
∎ Any other activities as and when required by the management.

∎ Good planning an organizational skills.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
