Job Context:
∎ Approved by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB), the Saic Group-runs Saic Institute of Management and Technology (SIMT); which is the largest private polytechnic institute of the country to receive grant from the World Bank. With the mission of creating skilled manpower, in June 2001, only one technology (Diploma in Computer Engineering) was started in Saic Institute of Management & Technology (SIMT). In the very first year of its` journey, all the approved seats of SIMT were filled. With the ever increasing demands, in the year of 2018-19, twelve (12) more technical courses are being added and number of seats increased to one thousand eight (1008).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Coordinate and guide the students of his own class
∎ • Conduct classes on daily basis
∎ • Preparing and delivering lectures
∎ • Checking Examination Script
∎ • Work as a Invigilator during Examination
∎ • Ensure the Lesson Plan is done according to the Syllabus
∎ • Maintain all Registers (Attendance Register, Record Register, Lesson Plan Register, Notice Register, etc.)
∎ • Counsel to the Guardians/ Parents as and when required
∎ • Organize different Annual Programs (like Science Fair, Cultural Program, Debate Programs, etc.)
∎ • Take initiative, whenever, it is necessary in order to uphold the image of the Institution
∎ • Take initiatives against any sort of disciplined activities by any student
∎ • Supervise the Teacher - Parents meeting and Result Day
∎ • Assisting the Admission Department whenever and wherever it is necessary
∎ • Any other duties assigned by the institution time to time

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ • At least 1 years’ experience as a Teacher/ Instructor/ Lecturer
∎ • Age 25 to 35 years
∎ • Flexible working hours for the Contractual Instructors; maximum two (2) days in a Week (not in the week-ends though)
∎ • Payments will be made on each class basis for the Contractual Instructors
∎ • Teaching/ Training, Education Administration/ Management, Education Counseling, Curriculum/ Program Development, ToT (Training of Teachers)
∎ • Knowledge on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
∎ • Must be good at communication and must have adequate knowledge in producing all sorts of reports and presentations
∎ • Have creativity, integrity, initiatives, and imagination
∎ • Prepared to accept challenges, work under pressure, and meet the deadlines
∎ • Must have strong voice

Salary:
∎ Tk. 10000 - 15000 (Monthly)
∎ • Payments will be made on each class basis for the Contractual Instructors
