∎ Must have sound knowledge of audit requirements as per BSCI, ACCORD & Alliance.
∎ To be active to make solution of CAP found by compliance audit team.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the Knit Garments.
∎ Application should be strong knowledge on firefighting & workplace Safety.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We are seeking a proactive and experienced Fire & Safety Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring workplace safety, managing fire prevention measures, and fostering a safe environment for all employees. This role requires an individual having hands-on experience in fire safety, training, and emergency response management.
∎ Develop, implement, and monitor fire safety policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with local and international regulations.
∎ Conduct regular fire risk assessments and recommend improvements to mitigate potential hazards.
∎ Plan and supervise fire drills, evacuation training, and emergency response programs for employees and keep record for audit purpose.
∎ Inspect fire safety systems, including alarms, extinguishers, hydrants, and sprinkler systems, ensuring proper functionality.
∎ Collaborate with factory management to address safety concerns and integrate fire safety measures into production activities.
∎ Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and compliance reports for audits and reviews.
∎ Liaise with local fire authorities and agencies for inspections, certifications, and guidance on regulatory compliance.
∎ Provide training and guidance to employees on fire prevention and emergency response procedures.
