Job Context:
∎ KEPCO Plant Service & Engineering Co. Ltd. (KEPCO-KPS) is doing Operation & Maintenance of Summit Meghnaghat Power Co. Ltd. which is 337 MW/ 305 MW Dual Fuel Combined Cycle Power Plant. KEPCO-KPS is a subsidiary of Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), the state owned power utility in South Korea. It is one of the largest O&M service company in the world and is currently engaged in O&M services in South Korea for 60,000MW which is about 75% of South Korea`s total power generation. KEPCO-KPS is also providing O&M services in India, Philippines, Madagascar, Jordan and Mexico among others totaling about 5000MW.
∎ Job Location : Narayanganj (Sonargaon)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Understands and adheres to all plant safety guidelines and procedures. Strives to maintain an injury free environment.
∎ Must be dynamic, have sense of initiative and be able to fit into multicultural working environment.
∎ Ability to work independently & under pressure, especially during emergency conditions, using special safety equipment and procedures.
∎ Serve other operation engineers for the following plant process and electrical distribution through plant control system (DCS) and other process control devices.
∎ Performs preparation of chemicals in tanks.
∎ Monitors the operation and performance of the Plant (initially BOP area) while on shift. Read, interpret and adjust meters and gauges to make sure plant equipment is operating properly. Takes appropriate action when necessary to ensure compliance of safety, efficiency, environmental and administrative guidelines.
∎ To schedule work orders through CMMS for faulty equipments, predictive and breakdown maintenance or modifications for necessary actions. Identifies problems with plant equipment and clearly communicates the conditions associated with these problems to the shift charge engineer.
∎ Participates in plant training and qualification program.
∎ Performs and assist in performance of Plant maintenance.
∎ Site clean up as needed.
∎ Maintains positive community relations.
∎ Should be comfortable wearing PPE for any work inside the plants.
∎ Follow all kind of company regulations and rules including HSE.
∎ Proactively participate in and contribute to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 programs.
∎ Other than above clauses, follow all instruction which is made by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 32 years
∎ 02-03 years working experience in power plant.
∎ Should be courageous, intelligent and vigilant.
∎ Able to work under pressure.
∎ The applicants should have experience in Power Plant (Operation shift duty).
∎ Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills, good command in written and spoken English are must.
Salary:
