Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare, implement and maintain the Core Security Requirements as per WV Security Policy at all offices/Programmes/projects under the cluster field office purview
∎ Prepare and update quarterly (and for context change) the SRA (Security Risk Assessment)
∎ Support Country Security Manager in preparing the annual context risk rating for the cluster
∎ Prepare and review Office security assessments and plan for each of the offices including contingency measures
∎ Ensure every office has an office security plan including an emergency plan
∎ Assess security training and business continuity needs and work with Country Security Manager to plan and organize the training accordingly
∎ Report and manage security incidents as the incident management system/ protocols and generate reports and updates till the logical closure of the incident
∎ Monitor local security situation, escalate any significant situation/development in the area and report to Country Security Manager
∎ Investigate any security incident or breach at the offices as instructed by Country Security Manager and implement measures to prevent reoccurrence of such incidents
∎ Ensure all security equipment is in working condition at the office premises - office access control, CCTV, firefighting equipment
∎ Develop and implement security plans, protocols and guidelines which will include:
∎ - security phone tree,
∎ - staff tracking system,
∎ - vehicle movement control and tracking system (travel management)
∎ - physical evacuation plan
∎ - Medevac procedures
∎ Develop and implement emergency/fire safety plan for all offices/facilities including periodic fire safety and first aid training for staff including drills as per Core Security Requirements
∎ Visit all APs once every three months to ensure CSR and train/brief all staff on security matters.
∎ Act as the security focal point for all APs and HEA responses.
∎ Conduct a security risk assessment for proposed Office programs/ events (training, meetings, conferences, etc.) at non-WV premises and develop and implement security plans towards safe organizing of the events
∎ Accomplish any task given by the Country Security Manager
∎ Manage and coordinate with the security service provider and ensure that a high standard of service is provided and maintained at all facilities in consultation and association with the Country Security Manager
∎ Monitor Private Security Guard deployment and their performance at the facilities through surprise checks and stress tests to ensure professional office protection services are in place.
∎ Devise mechanism for coordination between the Private Security Agency and office administration to optimize the services
∎ Ensure visitor security systems standards are implemented that will include pre-arrival security guide, personal security briefing and visit security plan
∎ Conduct a security risk assessment for proposed Office programs/ events (training, meetings, conferences, etc.) at non-WV premises and develop and implement security plans towards safe organizing of the events
∎ Liaise with local police/law enforcing agencies, administration near WV Offices
∎ Maintain close contact with the security personnel of other I/NGOs as appropriate

∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Understand security issues and trained on security management
∎ Security situation monitoring skills
∎ Training and Facilitation skills
∎ Proven leadership ability
∎ Good time management and organizing skills
∎ Proven experience as a team player
∎ Demonstrated collaboration skills
∎ Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint with Internet Browsing Skill
∎ 30% Work travel is expected to visit AP’s and Project Offices
∎ The position requires the holder to be able to undertake taskings at short notice with due regard to the security environment
∎ The position requires the holder to be able to work effectively and efficiently unsupervised and plan and manage time effectively.
∎ The holder must exercise a strong work ethic and take responsibility for his/her own actions.

Salary: Tk. 55000 - 60000 (Monthly)
