Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide support in developing guideline and tools for effective community engagement and partnering
∎ Provide support to APs in exercising DPA Critical Path steps and ensuring community participation in developing AP plan following the standard community engagement process.
∎ Support and guide APs to form, nurture and keep functional of local organizations i.e. VDC, UCDC, child forum/ youth forums, adolescent clubs and link then with local government structure
∎ Provide technical support to APs for conducting a capacity assessment of local-level partners (VDC, UNDC, and shared plan implementing partners), using Organizational Capacity Assessment tool, support to develop capacity building plan and capacity building
∎ Ensure quality of community engagement process in planning and implementation of AP plans with special focus on CESP
∎ Support to develop and review guidelines for the micro project and review micro project proposal of APs and coordinate approval process of Micro projects.
∎ Build capacity of AP team and facilitate to conduct ‘Annual Community Review and Planning’ event and document the learnings at RFO/APC level
∎ Support APs and APC team to exercise SIP review and develop a plan of action for ensuring practice of SIP essentials in AP to full fill CESP objectives.
∎ Tracking process of CESP implementation (programmatic and financial) in all APs under RFO share with NO and follow up APs regularly
∎ Support Grant/ PNS/APs and other departments in identifying potential partners through conducting a due diligence assessment process.
∎ Support AP team, GAM team to negotiate with a partner organization for developing, review, and timely signing of MoU, teaming agreement, partnership agreement
∎ Assist AP staff in closely monitoring shared plan implementation quality and partner’s performance and maintaining a healthy relationship
∎ Organize meeting/learning/reflection event with partner organizations, check partnership health regularly, support to develop a plan of action and follow up the implementation
∎ Develop an issue-based list of potential partners to support prompt identification of partner organization for grant/ PNS proposal development
∎ Build capacity of APC and AP staff on DPA and Partnering
∎ Develop ‘annual event plan’ related to community engagement and partnering and give efforts to implement accordingly
∎ Visit field program to monitor the quality of community engagement and partner performance capture best practice, identify improvement areas and follow up for continuous improvement
∎ Support NO, APC, and AP team to carry on baseline survey, annual outcome monitoring, and phase evaluation of CESP
∎ Maintain coordination with other technical positions including Field Program Quality Assurance Specialists for keeping team mandate functional
∎ Report on a monthly basis to direct and matrix supervisors.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years

∎ Understands DPA, PRA, different community engagement tools and processes
∎ Have skill in developing guideline and tools related with community engagement and partnering
∎ Good facilitation and presentation skills
∎ Have basic knowledge on partnership in development field
∎ Developing monthly and annual work plan
∎ Have knowledge in assessing quality of program during implementation
∎ Have skill in delivering training for staff and partners on community engagement and partnering
∎ knowledge and skill for conducting due diligence assessment
∎ Basic understanding about various forms of agreement (MoU , teaming agreement, partnership agreement ( financial partnership)
∎ knowledge and skill in forming/facilitating community organization i.e. VDC/ UCDC/CVA group/CBOs
∎ Apply critical thinking and reflection in the daily work
∎ Engage in personal learning and development
∎ Support team effectiveness
∎ Ability to lead programmatic reflection and learning
∎ Able to design & facilitate learning events (workshop, learning lab, reflection)
∎ Able to compile, summarize and present information in various forms for various audiences
∎ Communicate effectively including influencing skills
∎ Understand core documents of WV global partnership, WVB country strategy and various approaches and project models & integrated programming approach
∎ Ability to work with minimum supervision and handle multiple assignments with quality and within the agreed timeframe.

Salary: Tk. 70000 - 80000 (Monthly)
