Job Context:
∎ We are seeking an experienced Transportation Manager to join our team and oversee our daily product shipments.
∎ As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management and possess knowledge of warehouse procedures, including inventory management, order dispatching, and vehicle tracking.
∎ Your familiarity with safety protocols and legal regulations will ensure the smooth and secure handling of all shipments.
∎ In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the efficiency of our transportation operations while adhering to budgetary constraints.
∎ Your attention to detail and strategic planning skills will be crucial in ensuring that our shipments are promptly delivered, safely handled, and cost-effective.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure timely operation of Transport section & to ensure transport requirement (Both commercial & staff transportation) for corporate office & all BU's of the company.
∎ Managing direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities.
∎ Recruiting deficient drivers, mechanics and helpers with the help of the HR & Admin department.
∎ Ensure to keep all vehicles in good serviceable condition by proper maintenance & repair on time.
∎ Carry out the periodical inspection of all vehicles with the help of technicians.
∎ Have to maintain repairing, servicing fuel/ CNG consumption & spare parts records.
∎ Have to test vehicles both before and after repair.
∎ Monitor driver's recruitment, work schedule, bill voucher & other related works.
∎ Preparing monthly budget, monthly Expenditure Report, and other reports as and when required by the Management.
∎ Direct & maintain activities related to deployment, dispatch, routing and transportation of commercial vehicles of the company such as trucks, covered vans, pick-ups etc.
∎ Ensure that all personal & commercial fleet vehicles are properly maintained and serviced. Also, ensure proper utilization and operation of the commercial fleet.
∎ To prepare and implement transport policy for smooth operation and control of all commercial vehicles of the Group.
∎ Ensure driver management, fuel management and supervision. Ensure that all components of the vehicle are properly maintained and inspected frequently.
∎ Contact the Traffic Department, BRTA & Civil Government to take administrative responsibility for transparent transport activities.
∎ Confirmation of documents related to fleet management cases, settlement and monitoring of accidental problems.
∎ Ensure denting, painting, body fabrication and major overhauling of all company vehicles.
∎ Verifying of fuel consumption of all vehicles by checking and controlling the KPL (kilometers per liter) of each one.
∎ Managing any accidental case of transport.
∎ Maintaining Service records of all vehicles & checking all relevant bills and vouchers before sending them for final approval.
∎ Any other related task as assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years

∎ Proven work experience in the similar role in any large group of companies.
∎ Solid knowledge of the transportation industry and logistics.
∎ Experience working with transportation-related government regulations.
∎ Expertise in ensuring maintenance/operation of a good number of transports and office utilities affairs.
∎ Must have work experience at operation & service department of transport division in any large manufacturing company.
∎ Critical thinking skills and knowledge of analytics.
∎ Experience working with transport management systems and warehouse management software, such as Freight Path and Info plus.
∎ Ability to work well with team members and navigate stressful situations.
∎ Excellent leadership skills.
∎ Good conflict resolution skills.
