Responsibilities & Context:
Monitor contract broiler farms regularly to ensure proper farm management, biosecurity, hygiene, and disease prevention practices.
Provide technical support to contract farmers on broiler chick management, feeding, vaccination, medication, and overall flock health.
Monitor flock performance, including body weight, feed conversion ratio (FCR), mortality, growth rate, and production efficiency.
Develop and implement farm management plans to improve broiler productivity and profitability.
Conduct regular farm visits to identify technical issues and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
Coordinate with veterinarians, nutritionists, hatcheries, feed mills, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth farming operations.
Ensure proper implementation of vaccination schedules, medication protocols, and veterinary recommendations.
Analyze farm performance reports and identify the causes of poor growth, high mortality, feed wastage, and other production-related problems.
Provide technical guidance and training to contract farmers and farm workers on modern broiler farming practices.
Maintain farm visit reports, flock performance records, medication records, and other technical documentation.
Support the contract farming team in chick placement, flock monitoring, harvesting, and farm turnaround activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), animal welfare requirements, and applicable biosecurity standards.
