∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Food (Packaged)/Beverage

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To play a vital role as a team member of the commercial department in ensuring timely procurement of all types materials as needed to maintain an uninterrupted production and sales schedule of the Company
∎ To manage and plan/forecast the availability of materials to support the production as per requirements of the organization.
∎ To scout and procure cost effective and timely procurement of raw materials (local and import) packing materials, chemicals, spare parts, capital machineries etc.
∎ To correspond with the suppliers for on-time shipment, pro forma invoice (PI), delivery etc.
∎ To initiate the procurement process through LC and on-time LC opening in co-ordination with banks/insurance companies.
∎ To coordinate with suppliers/C&F agents and under taking all the requirements activities for air/sea/road shipments for facilitating clearance for consignment from port.
∎ To prepare L/C opening schedule on a monthly basis after assess the requirements of raw materials/ packing materials.
∎ To maintain liaison with all the other respective departments to get input for effective and efficient material management and purchase.
∎ To develop and maintain effective contacts and working relationships with key suppliers and banks.
∎ To monitor the supplier/vendor performance
∎ To perform any other job as may be assigned by the management on day-to-day basis.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Ability to handle port and customs operation effectively.
∎ Ability to work under pressure, self - motivated, confident and proactive.
∎ Strong oral and written communication skill in English
